The yearly Angel Tree Beauty Pageant is Saturday, Dec. 6, at Lamar Elementary School in Mineral Wells.

Children through age 35 months will be umpired in three age groups for the Baby Division. Boys to age 4 may perhaps enter the pageant.

There are five age groups in the Tiny all the way through Miss Divisions. Contestants have to be 3-19 years of age.

Participants are requisite to partake in sportswear and party wear contests. Participation in the Christmas contest is non-compulsory, but is necessary to be eligible to win the on the whole title. Participants who enter the Christmas contest have to wear an associated outfit. There will be only one winner in all age group for the Christmas contest, no runners-up.

Participants possibly will perform in the Talent Contest, which is as well required to be entitled for the overall title. There will one winner and one runner up for all categories.

Optional challenges are photogenic and group. There will be a winner in all age group for these competitions.

Deadline for entries is Wednesday, Dec. 3. Every contestant has to be pre-registered to compete.

There will as well be a raffle of a number of nice items during the pageant, with proceeds to benefit the Angel Tree.
