Black lips normally cast a gloomy reflection on one’s careless lifestyle in spite of having been blessed with a perfect skin and figure. Whereas having naturally
shadowy colored lips from birth is completely fine, researches state that there are a number of reasons behind why the lips of a lot of fair and average complexioned
people turn black or start turning dark black following a certain point of time.

Few Major Reasons Why Lips Turn Dark:
Using lipstick and other lip products (lip gloss, lip liner…) of cheap brands.
Heavy application of lips products.
Heavy intake of tea or coffee.
Dryness.
Smoking.
Allergy.

Remedies for Dark Black Lips:
* You can make use of your toothbrush to remove the dead skin cells off your lips. But keep in mind to use them lightly to avoid hurting your delicate lips. Apply a thin coat of a lip balm after this and with the toothbrush coated with Vaseline the next time.

* Massage your lips smoothly with a good quality lip balm every nighttime. Also make sure that you drink at least eight glasses of water every day. During daytime,
use lip balm to protect them against glaring sun rays. Follow this every day.

* Use concealer on your gloomy lips before wearing your lipstick. For healthier result, use a lip liner to outline your lips and then fill up with lipstick or lip gloss.Always go for finest brands as far as cosmetics are concerned.

* In case you have noticed that your lips have started to turn dark after using a lip balm or lipstick, discontinue immediately. Consult a skin specialist immediately.

* Take in a healthy diet and have lots of fruits, water and green vegetables. At the same time, avoid in take of caffeine and smoking totally if you don’t want your
lips to turn dark. Try working out at least thrice a week to keep a good health.

* If your black lips have been caused by drinking tea, coffee or by smoking, you will need to stop it before your lips can lighten very badly. Also apply Vaseline to
your lips often. Ghee is also very good; apply a little ghee every night. This keeps lips moisturized. You could also apply lemon juice to your lips daily, to lighten them slightly. Wear good quality lipstick with sunscreen, as UV radiation may cause pigmentation.
