Beauty Glossary-I

Immunostimulant: An agent that stimulates both innate and acquired immunity.

Immunosuppressant: An agent that acts to hold back the body's natural immune response.

Instant Conditioner: A conditioner with light to intense conditioning properties that restores a well look and protects against any more damage.

Irritant: A type of ingredient substance that causes an undesirable short-term result and consistently, predictably produces an adverse response (like reddening, swelling, itching, burning, or blistering) in almost all of the population. Irritants are not to be confused with allergens.
