Macrobiotics: The learning of prolonging life with diet or other ingested substances.
Malic Acid: A glycolic acid derived from apples, cherries, grapes etc.
Mallow: A softening agent prepared from plants that helps reduce inflammation, age lines, and eye swelling.
Matt: A non-shiny surface that takes up light.
Melanoma: A type of skin cancer differentiated by a black or dark brown pigmented tumor. It is the most serious, life-threatening form of skin cancer.
Microdermabrasion: A treatment that involves a device that smoothly sloughs the dead skin cells while removing them. Microdermabrasion uses a kind of sand to abrade the skin, generally done by an esthetician or a cosmetic doctor. Cosmetic physicians can make a deeper type of dermabrasion by means of small burrs or wires to remove the outer layers of the skin.
Mineral: A natural, inorganic substance.
Mineral Oil: Highly refined petroleum.
Moisturizer: A product that will keep moisture in the skin, or bring moisture to the skin. In other words it is an emollient cream used to hydrate skin.
