Ultraviolet Radiation: It is the invisible rays in sunlight that cause suntan, sunburn, premature skin aging, and nearly all cases of skin cancer.

Undertone: Here in make-up terms, it refers to cool or warm tones of the skin.

Urea: Used as a humectants and as a skin conditioner.

UVA: Damaging (Ultraviolet light, type A) rays from the sun, believed to create wrinkles and premature aging.

UVB: damaging (Ultraviolet light, type B) rays from the sun can cause skin conditions that lead to sunburn and skin cancer.
